Rather than copy master works outright, one of the best ways to study master painters is to discern how they used a principle, then apply that same method to a study using a totally different subject.
In this Series, from four historical master painters, Dianne discovers in each a principle used to achieve balance, then finds a way to do a study that applies the same method these masters used for applying that principle.
