Any day now, we will launch our long-anticipated Academy. Since launching her video tutorials in 2015, over 500,000 of Dianne’s video lessons have been downloaded, we have produced over 350 YouTube Quick Tips, and have held 37 monthly online workshops to date. Now we are entering the world of online self-pacing courses that require no downloading, just like those found on Udemy, LearnWorlds, Teachable, and Thinkific, to name a few.
Our Academy will offer Master Courses and Mini Courses. Each Master Course is an in-depth study of a single composing principle. Our Mini Courses take a more general principle and show up to four ways to use it. The Mini Courses use the lessons in our Series downloads, guiding the student through exercises for how to use the principle. The Master Courses each use a set of video lessons from Dianne’s workshops.
Our courses are straight-forward without extra pop-ups or attempts to entice you to purchase more. Their purpose is to give you a clear and positive learning experience. We will launch with a limited number of courses, then continue to add to them. You will have your own Profile Page where all your courses are listed and where you can come back at any time and pick up where you left off when taking a course.
Whereas our current online courses have included a coaching session with Dianne, our academy courses give you a choice as to whether you would like a coaching session. You can make that decision at any time. The fees for coaching sessions won’t be included in the fee for our courses.
Just like all of Dianne’s teaching, the Academy will evolve according to the needs and request of our students.
